The bedrooms are simple, but to ensure a good night's sleep, they are equipped with mattresses and pillows made by Tempur®, a global bedding brand from Denmark. The hotel is also listed on the company's website as a "hotel where you can experience Tempur."

The bed frames also feature wooden slats made from Yakushima cedar.

The beds are made of Yakushima cedar and have wooden slats. There is storage space under the bed, and even a large suitcase can be stored. Luggage for long-term stays is no problem.

Arpe® bath towels are environmentally friendly, made from recycled polyester, with excellent absorbency, quick drying and durability. All designs are made in our factory in Arenys de Munt, Spain, which runs on 100% renewable energy with solar panels.
We also work in a production system based on certification of environmental and quality management.

The history of Ecostore began in 1993 when Malcolm and Melanie Lands, a married couple living in an "ecovillage" in New Zealand, decided that they wanted to make the water discharged from their homes as clean as the beautiful water in nature. They decided to make their own detergent in the storeroom of their home.
Ecostore's detergent is used in the laundry and for cleaning the building. (Laundry is available for a fee.)

"The toothbrushes provided as amenities are thrown away after only being used in the evening and morning. How many toothbrushes are thrown away around the world?" This was the start of MiYO Organic, which was discovered after a hotel guest on a business trip was shocked. We have introduced the company's bamboo toothbrushes, cotton buds, cotton pads, etc. However, these amenities are subject to a fee. In order to reduce excessive "disposable" items as much as possible, please bring your own toothbrushes, etc.

We offer aroma sprays made from Yakushima cedar by Yawaraka, a shop specializing in island fragrances.
Yakushima cedar contains 20 times more of the ingredient "cedrol," which helps you fall asleep more easily and improves sleep efficiency, than cedar grown on the mainland.

Simple cooking utensils and appliances in the shared kitchen

The shared kitchen is equipped with simple cooking utensils and appliances. We hope that you will come and cook meals together with the people you meet at Årc.

The laundry room has three washing machines and dryers, which can be used for a fee. *Please note that the laundry room is closed from 10:00 to 15:00 due to cleaning.

Assuming long-term stays, there is a retractable clothesline installed so that you can hang out your laundry in the room. Other light items can be stored on hooks.

Cancellation Policy

As a basic cancellation policy, we will charge a cancellation fee according to the following table depending on the timing of your cancellation request.

If your application plan or reservation via another site has its own cancellation policy, we will follow that policy.

* Yakushima is a region where flights and ferries are frequently canceled. In case of cancellations, the cancellation fee will follow the terms of your reservation plan. We recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes cancellation or trip disruption coverage.
